Summer Performing Arts Camp

Northlight's Performing Arts Camp combines the professional theatre training of Northlight Theatre Academy with timeless summer camp traditions and a public end-of-session showcase performed on our professional stage for family and friends.

Our Camp serves JUNIOR CAMPERS Grades 3-6 and SENIOR CAMPERS Grades 7-10.
Camp highlights include:
• Field trips

o One field trip to attend a Broadway in Chicago show per session
o One workshop or visiting theatre company experience
o Friday afternoon trips to the water park (Junior Camp, weekly; Senior Camp, bi-weekly)

• Guest artist visits from Steppenwolf Theatre Company, the Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre Company and/or Northlight Theatre

• Core and elective classes focused on shaping our campers into successful young theatre artists

SUMMER 2010

Session Dates for JUNIOR CAMP (Grades 3-6) and SENIOR CAMP (Grades 7-10)
Session 1: June 21-July 16, 2010 (Camp show, July 15; no Camp July 5)
Session 2: July 20-August 13, 2010 (Camp show, August 12; no Camp July 19)

Location:
Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077 in the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Students get to workshop and explore on our professional stage and experience the magic of learning at the largest theatre on the North Shore.

Fees:
One session: $885 before March 1st; $895 after March 1st
Two sessions or siblings: $1720 before March 1st; $1740 after March 1st

A non-refundable deposit of $300 per session is required to hold a reservation. Full payment is due May 1, 2010. All payments are non-refundable.
