Second Chances: Moving on and Finding Love after Loss (of a Relationship or Loved One)
Thom Dennis, LCPC, is currently the Bereavement Services Coordinator at NorthShore Hospice in Skokie, Illinois. He has over 20 years experience accompanying grieving families, having worked in hospice, hospital chaplaincy, and parish ministry. He holds two masters degrees and is currently working on a doctorate in ministry at Chicago Theological Seminary with an emphasis on grief & bereavement. He is certified in thanatology, death dying and bereavement by the Association of Death Education and Counseling. Thom has published several articles on grief and presented at national conferences. He is also the creator of the Grief River®, an innovative approach to coping with loss over the course of the entire life span. For more information contact Thom at: tdennis@northshore.org.
