Northlight Student Series
SEASON ACCESS
This performance series allows schools and teachers to customize their season package with attendance at three to five shows of their choice. Participating schools also get pre and post-show class visits by a Northlight teaching artist, study guides, preview viewings for teachers and copies of the script.
Tickets to student matinees are also sold on an individual event basis for schools unable to participate in the full program.
ARTIST ENGAGEMENT
This program offers classes a chance to learn directly from the artists involved in a production, to supplement attending a matinee. Participating classes arrive at Northlight at 9:00am to learn from the cast about their process developing the play, attend the 10:30am matinee, participate in the post-show discussion and wrap up with a backstage tour.
MASTERCLASS
Taught by Northlight's mainstage artists, Masterclass is a series of workshops about the artistic process. Students enroll individually to study from Northlight designers, actors, directors and playwrights.
NORTHLIGHT ON CAMPUS
Northlight On Campus provides theatre access and training for students through a variety of activities including on campus after school drama training. Eight-week sessions of theatre classes are taught by Northlight teaching artists at the school in addition to visits by our mainstage artists to teach special Masterclasses for students.
PERFORMING ARTS CAMP
Northlight's longstanding Performing Arts Camp continues to serve students by combining professional theatre training with timeless summer camp traditions and a public end-of-session showcase performed on our professional stage for family and friends.
Northlight Teacher Program
TEACHER WORKSHOPS
This program offers school teachers a chance to learn from Northlight's artists about specific aspects of the artistic process and how to apply that knowledge to classroom teaching.
