She Costumes to Conquer
Rachel Healy is one of the hardest working costume designers in Chicago, with designs appearing on stages large and small. A Northlight "regular," Ms. Healy has designed the costumes for eight Northlight productions, receiving a Jeff Award for her elegant Lady Windermere's Fan designs. Ms. Healy is a long-time friend and collaborator of She Stoops to Conquer director, Bill Brown. Together they enjoy the challenges and delights of a classic period play such as this one, but through the unorthodox setting of 1895 America, they make this play uniquely their own.
