FORMER INTERNS SAY:
“I have to say quite honestly that the internship program at Northlight provided me with experiences and opportunities that I could not have found doing an internship with another company.  I was able to contribute and participate on productions, interface and collaborate with key staff and artists and meet hundreds of people in the local theatre community. I still use the skills I learned from being a part of the team at Northlight.”
-Karen LaShelle, Illinois Wesleyan University, currently Executive and Artistic Director, Theatre Action Project in Austin, TX
“I loved my internship at Northlight. I think that my experience as an artistic administration intern was unique because I didn't get experience in just one area; I got to see a little bit of every aspect of working for a theater, from attending production meetings to cataloging archives from Northlight's first season.”
-Elizabeth Harelik, Tufts University
"There's nothing like getting the hands-on experience of working at a professional theatre.  My literary management internship at Northlight was a fantastic way to get to know writers' works, learn about the administrative aspect of working with a theatre company, and make connections in the Chicago area.  I enjoyed every minute of it!
-Michelle Kritselis, University of Illinois
