NTA SPRING COMPANY PRODUCTIONS

Junior Company (Grades 3-6)
The Little Prince
by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
directed by Tina Carney and Julie Ritchey
Performance: May 3 at 11:30am
The little prince lives on a house-sized planet with three volcanoes and a rose.  He spends his days caring for his asteroid, pulling out weeds and wondering what the rest of the universe must be like.  Join us as he takes a sometimes harrowing, often humorous journey to find out.

Senior Company (Grades 7-12)
The Giver
by Diane Basmajian, based on the book by Lois Lowry
directed by Daniel Stermer
Performances: May 4 and 5 at 7:00pm
12-year-old Jonas lives in a future society where music, laughter and emotions are considered dangerous.  The communal memories have therefore been collected and are being stored with one person – the Giver.  However, the Giver is old, and someone new is needed to keep the memories safe and secure.  You can imagine who has been selected for the job.

Tickets are $12 adults/$8 students and can be purchased at the door or by calling 847/673-6300.  Both plays are suitable for all ages.
